About the role

Payroll Specialists are responsible for managing employee payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll on a timely basis
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all payroll transactions
  • Handle employee inquiries related to pay and benefits
  • Prepare and distribute pay stubs and other payroll documents
  • Manage tax withholdings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Update payroll records and maintain accurate employee files

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in payroll processing
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with payroll software systems

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with payroll processing software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
