Payroll Specialist

We are partnering with a growing organization in Tigard Oregon to identify a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in accuracy, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Construction experience is a plus!

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000–$80,000 salary

Key Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely payroll for employees
• Review timekeeping and payroll data for accuracy
• Maintain employee payroll records and process deductions and adjustments
• Assist with payroll tax filings, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and timekeeping
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records
• Partner with HR and accounting on payroll-related matters
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s
• Support payroll process improvements and other projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Construction or prevailing wage experience is a plus
