Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and timely for employees
- Review and verify timecards, payroll changes, deductions, and adjustments
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure proper documentation
- Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, direct deposits, and tax withholding updates
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions
- Process garnishments, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions
- Partner with Human Resources and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll information
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and process improvements as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of payroll experience preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, deductions, taxes, and wage and hour requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred; relevant payroll experience will be considered
Pay
$65,000 – $75,000 base salary depending on experience
