About the role
Payroll Specialists are responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and processing employee payments.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing including direct deposits and tax withholdings.
- Ensure accuracy and timely processing of all payroll transactions.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll issues.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in payroll administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) software.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
