Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule
- Review employee timesheets and payroll data
- Maintain payroll records and employee information
- Verify payroll deductions and adjustments
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries
- Aid in payroll tax documentation and reporting
- Reconcile payroll records and identify discrepancies
- Update payroll systems and employee data
- Cook up with HR and finance departments
- Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures
- Aid in payroll audits and documentation requests
- Aid in special projects and administrative tasks
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in payroll, finance, accounting, administration, customer service, or support roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
- Comfortable working with numbers and confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
