Payroll Specialist

Core Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Apply deductions, overtime, bonuses, and other pay variables correctly
- Reconcile payroll data prior to processing and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain payroll records in compliance with company policy and legal requirements
- Support payroll reporting, including tax filings and year-end documents (W-2s, 1099s)
- Respond to employee payroll questions with clarity, care, and professionalism
Qualifications
- An associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Prior experience in payroll or a similar role
- Working knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Experience with ADP payroll systems (ADP Lyric preferred)
- Strong Excel skills for reviewing and organizing payroll data
- A detail-oriented mindset and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
