Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees.
- Review timesheets for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Address payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and employee inquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Cook up payroll activities in coordination with HR, project managers, and field teams for seamless execution.
- Support audits and reporting related to payroll activity.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in payroll processing.
- Experience with payroll tax and payroll accounting.
- Familiarity with union and non-union payroll processing.
- Experience with Kronos and reconciliation.
- Two or more years of payroll processing experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience handling high-volume, multi-state payroll with union exposure.
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems and payroll software such as ADP, UKG, or similar.
About the Role
This is a fully onsite position located at the corporate headquarters. The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM. The position is a one-month assignment to cover for an employee on leave.

This is a Contract position based out of Nanuet, NY.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
