Develop specialized expertise in certified payroll and prevailing wage reporting, highly sought-after skills in the construction industry. Responsibilities
- Process weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll for multi-state employees.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for public works projects.
- Audit timekeeping records, payroll data, and labor classifications.
- Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and job cost systems.
- Support payroll tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting.
- Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, and HR support activities.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
- Experience working within an ERP or payroll system.
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
- Certified payroll, prevailing wage, construction payroll, or multi-state payroll experience required.
