Payroll - Project Manager

Job Description

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll
• Ensure seamless end-user experience and processes
• Collaborate with broader workstreams to determine process impacts and best practices for change management
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into project objectives
• Oversee system testing, data migration, user acceptance testing, and training activities
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system implementation problems and overall system performance
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure successful system integration with timekeeping and benefits systems and vendors
• Write and prepare system user documentation, instructional guides, reference materials, and system plans and manuals
• Develop post-implementation support plans and conduct project closeout activities including lessons learned

Skills / Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience as a department leader when preparing for technology and system changes
• Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Change management experience
• Experience of planning and executing a business system implementation, preferably with Workday
