  • Investigate payroll variances or accounting discrepancies and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement timely resolutions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop payroll team members by setting priorities, reinforcing accountability, and encouraging cross-training and growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll procedures, internal controls, efficiency, and scalability through strong cross-functional partnership.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive payroll experience, including leadership responsibility within a payroll function.
  • Demonstrated background managing full-cycle payroll in multi-company and multi-state environments.
  • Experience overseeing payroll volumes of 500 or more employees with a high degree of accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, reconciliations, and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, UKG Pro, or similar platforms; experience with enterprise payroll administration is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
  • Solid understanding of payroll accounting, general ledger impacts, and audit support processes.
