Payroll Integration Developer

About the role

The Opportunity A Federal shared services provider delivers payroll for approximately 605,000 Federal employees across more than 150 agencies. To address inefficiencies in fragmented and aging payroll systems, it is implementing a scalable, cloud-based payroll solution that improves automation, data quality, user experience and compliance, with implementation for the full customer base targeted within eighteen months. This position supports the core implementation call order, which covers discovery and fit-gap analysis, solution design and configuration, data migration, interface development, testing and parallel payroll validation, and cutover through hypercare. In this role you will design, develop, test and deploy the inbound and outbound interfaces that connect the payroll solution to agency personnel and timekeeping systems, Treasury, tax authorities, benefits and retirement providers, and agency accounting systems. Work is performed remotely from within the United States, with periodic on-site presence as the assignment requires.
