About the role
The Payroll/Human Resources Assistant position at Champion Homes is responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining employee records, and assisting with HR tasks.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Ensure accuracy in employee records and benefits administration
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll and HR policies
- Prepare reports and maintain HR documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in payroll or HR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Skills
- Microsoft Excel
- Payroll software (e.g., ADP, Gusto)
- HRIS systems
