A Day in the Life In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the functions of North America Payroll, including being responsible for monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the company’s payroll processing objectives and maintaining relationships with external auditors and tax government agencies. You’ll need at least three (3) years of general work experience and the desire to make an impact from day one, but prior payroll experience is not required. This role is based in Irvine, CA on a hybrid schedule Tuesday/Thursday. This is a part-time role planned at 30 hours and four days per week. The compensation range for this role is $20.00 to $23.00 USD commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the payroll department to help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Respond to employee questions regarding payroll-related policies and direct more complex questions to the appropriate team members.Learn payroll processes, systems, and applicable company policies through internal training opportunities.Assists with resolving payroll discrepancies. Assists with Payroll and HR related projects. Assists with completing pre-acquisition and post-acquisition support tasks related to payroll integration and training, etc. Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information at all times.Keeps up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops. Participates in company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts. Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the HR/Payroll team Your Expertise And Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here. At least 3+ years of general internship and/or work experience.0-3 years of experience in payroll, HR or related field preferred.High school diploma or GED required.Interest in developing knowledge of payroll processes.Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Good organizational and time management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and support daily operations.English language competency. Ability/willingness to travel as needed.
