Payroll Coordinator
About the Role
The Payroll Coordinator leads and coordinates the accurate and timely processing of all payroll for the College under the guidance of the Payroll Manager. This self-directed position requires independent judgment and close collaboration with a customer-focused HR/Payroll team, departmental constituents, external customers, and vendors such as regulatory agencies. The role involves administering various facets of the college’s related Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and may require performing complex tasks. Additionally, this is a lead role serving as backup to the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate accurate and timely payroll processing for the College.
- Apply independent judgment in administering payroll tasks and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with HR/Payroll team members, departmental constituents, external customers, and vendors.
- Administer and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) as they relate to payroll.
- Perform complex payroll-related tasks as required.
- Serve as backup to the Payroll Manager.
Requirements
- Unofficial transcripts from an accredited institution indicating the degree awarded (required for eligibility consideration).
- If academic credentials were earned outside the United States, an evaluation of college credit earned at the non-U.S. institution must be provided.
