Responsibilities
- Help give the world's busiest professionals peace of mind by ensuring clients pay their employees on time with the utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform basic analysis, reporting, quarter-end and year-end audits, and research related to payroll processing.
- Work on special projects to flex critical and analytical thinking skills, helping clients achieve success.
- Deliver excellent customer service by responding to service requests, conducting basic client audits, participating in client calls, and completing basic level reporting on payroll activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent military experience OR 1-2 years of multi-corporation, multi-state payroll experience OR equivalent experience in customer service, payroll, human resources, benefits administration, financial institution, application support, or other relevant work experience.
- A flexible schedule, as payroll processing days can be longer (especially during year-end, where overtime is mandatory).
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work as a self-starter, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines.
- Strong critical thinking skills and a passion for problem-solving.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with change, adaptability, and resilience in the face of adversity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with HR, payroll technology, and payroll processes.
- FPC or CPP certification.
- Working knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, and wage and hour laws.
