Payroll Compliance Technician

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply applicable regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and processes.
• Monitor compliance activities and prepare reports on compliance status.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Stay current on changes to relevant regulations, standards, and industry requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise on U.S. payroll tax and employment tax compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to support safe and efficient operations.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Support compliance initiatives and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, payroll tax, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax and employment tax regulations.
• Subject matter expertise in U.S. employment tax compliance.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply complex regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Experience supporting compliance within the oil and gas industry is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $33.57 - $38.57 per hour.
Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This rate is subject to change.
