About the role

Payroll Compliance Specialists are responsible for ensuring that payroll processes comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and update payroll policies to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
  • Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify and correct errors or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to address compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration or similar field.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with payroll software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
