About the role

Auris is the payroll and HR partner built for small and medium-sized businesses who can’t afford to get it wrong. As a Payroll Client Advisor, you will prospect and deliver Auris Payroll presentations—both in-person and over the phone—to small and mid-sized merchants and businesses, closing deals within a fast sales cycle. You will report to a Payroll Division Manager and receive coaching from a Territory Manager.

During the training period, your manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using our tablet-based CRM platform, Atlas, which handles lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing. After training, you will set your own work schedule to maximize earnings from 100% commission and residuals on the business you bring in.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new clients and close sales of Auris business solutions with merchants in your territory.
  • Maintain existing and prospective client records in the CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled interactions, contact details, and other relevant information.

  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of Auris’s product and service portfolio, as well as industry developments in financial technology.
  • Upsell current clients on additional Auris products and services.
  • Maintain regular communication with your Payroll Territory Manager (PTM) or Payroll Division Manager (PDM).
  • Set appointments with business owners in person or via your network and referral partnerships.

  • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Incentive-driven sales “hunter” with a high sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
  • Enjoys cold-calling and face-to-face interactions.
  • Accountable for measurable, high-quality, and timely results.
  • Must be in the field a minimum of 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
