Key Responsibilities
- Process employee payroll information accurately and on schedule.
- Review and verify timecards, attendance records, and payroll-related data.
- Enter payroll information into payroll systems and maintain employee records.
- Aid with payroll audits and identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, direct deposits, and timekeeping.
- Maintain payroll documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with recordkeeping requirements.
- Support payroll tax reporting and other administrative payroll functions.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure payroll accuracy.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
- One to two years of payroll, accounting, administrative, or data entry experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software is a plus.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
