Responsibilities
- Distribute, collect, and review timesheets.
- Verify hours worked, overtime, and leave time.
- Update and maintain accurate employee records.
- Compile payroll summaries and other reports as requested.
- Strong familiarity with spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and payroll/accounting software.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with job site, co-workers, and project management.
- Accounts payable knowledge. For example, matching of invoices, receivers, and purchase orders.
- Reply to assigned queries correctly, efficiently and communicates in a timely manner.
- Complete special projects as required by manager.
- General office skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years related payroll processing experience.
- Strict adherence to ethical standards when handling sensitive financial and personal employee data.
- Solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using general office equipment and computer programs.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include an Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Adaptable and works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in the chemical refining industry.
Pay & Schedule
- Work schedule is Monday thru Thursday from 6:30AM to 5:00PM.
- Overtime and weekend work as needed.
