Payroll Bookkeeping / Accounts Payable
NHC Place at the Trace is seeking a full-time Payroll Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position operates Monday through Friday.
About the role
The ideal candidate will have prior experience and will be responsible for paying center bills, tracking invoices, and entering payroll and employee information. You will have the opportunity to train with our current staff member.
Responsibilities
- Vouchering invoices
- Preparing weekly check run
- Communicating with vendors and partners regarding purchases
- Preparing month-end books for submission to the home office
- Performing other various tasks related to accounts payable
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal classroom bookkeeping education or two years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in writing and mathematical skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle interruptions while remaining well-organized and persistent
- Strong communication and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Experience in insurance verification, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
- Ability to work effectively and thoroughly with patients and families
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
