Payroll/Bookkeeper (Construction BONUS!)
Job Description
Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including field and office staff
Maintain payroll records and ensure accuracy of employee data
Review and verify employee timecards, including job cost coding and project allocations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including prevailing wage requirements (if applicable)
Assist with audits, including workers’ compensation and union audits
Process employee benefit deductions (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.)
Assist with payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of payroll, bookkeeper or office management experience (must have payroll)
- ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll software experience
- Construction Industry (BONUS)
- Accounting/Bookkeeping experience (BONUS)
Pay & Schedule
$65,000 - $75,000 annually
