Payroll and Benefits Consultant
The Payroll & Benefits Consultant will provide hands-on support across payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance, ensuring business continuity and accuracy during a key transition period.

Vaco has partnered with a company in need of an experienced Payroll & Benefits Consultant following an unexpected departure. The role is remote, with a preference for Pacific or Mountain Time.
Responsibilities
- Process full cycle payroll accurately and on schedule
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments and changes
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations across applicable jurisdictions
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance
- Experience working within BambooHR preferred
- CPP and/or CEBS certification preferred
Benefits
The role offers a pay rate of $42 - $50 per hour for a project duration of 4-6+ months (contract-to-hire preferred), starting ASAP.
