Payroll and Accounts Payable Analyst | Remote

About the role

Payroll and Accounts Payable Analyst position available as a full-time remote role with a commitment of 10-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll processing across all pay cycles, including new hires, terminations, status changes, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle runs.
• Calculate, reconcile, and remit payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage the full accounts payable lifecycle, including invoice intake, GL coding, approval routing, and timely vendor payments via ACH, check, and wire.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile payroll and A/P subledgers to the general ledger and prepare related journal entries and accruals for month-end close.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong relevant experience in payroll and/or accounts payable.
• Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and wage-and-hour compliance.
• Solid understanding of A/P processes, GL coding, and accrual accounting fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with a payroll platform and an ERP/accounting system.

Pay

$90K - $130K/yr
