Payroll Analyst | Remote

Position: Payroll and Accounts Payable Analyst Type: Full-time Compensation: $90K - $130K/yr Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role Responsibilities Own end-to-end payroll processing across all pay cycles, including new hires, terminations, status changes, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle runs.Calculate, reconcile, and remit payroll taxes, garnishments, benefits deductions, and 401(k) contributions, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Manage the full accounts payable lifecycle, including invoice intake, GL coding, approval routing, and timely vendor payments via ACH, check, and wire.Perform three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.Reconcile payroll and A/P subledgers to the general ledger and prepare related journal entries and accruals for month-end close. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Have strong relevant experience in payroll and/or accounts payable.Working knowledge of payroll tax regulations and wage-and-hour compliance.Solid understanding of A/P processes, GL coding, and accrual accounting fundamentals.Hands-on experience with a payroll platform and an ERP/accounting system.
