Payroll Analyst

About the role

The Payroll Service Delivery Analyst supports the Overseas department, balancing payroll and documenting all transactions related to an employee's wages, including hourly pay, premiums, bonuses, reimbursements, etc.

Responsibilities

• Balancing payroll and documenting transactions related to wages
• Ensuring compliance with U.S. federal and state regulations
• Dealing with sensitive and confidential information
• Managing a high volume of work under tight deadlines
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality
• Organizing tasks and prioritizing responsibilities
• Using Excel and other relevant software
• Collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Working with military personnel, particularly those overseas

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience as a Payroll Processor or similar role
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and best payroll practices
• Demonstrated ability to utilize systems, tools, and procedures
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state payroll regulations
• Able to handle difficult and sensitive situations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Associate's degree in accounting, FPC certification, or CPP certification
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll and Time & Attendance
• Knowledge of ADP HCM, UK employment and tax law
• Experience working with military personnel, especially overseas

• Strong PC knowledge, including proficiency in Excel
