Payroll and Accounts Payable Administrator
About the Role
This is a hands-on role sitting across Finance and Operations, where you will gain visibility to many aspects of the business. Each day will look a little different, even while some tasks are periodic. The successful candidate will establish, run, and evolve the processes and tools used for Payroll and Accounts Payable functions. You will work closely with the management team to develop and run efficient administration of payroll, employee administration, benefits administration, communications, financial reporting, and other accounting operations. This role involves identifying and implementing improvements, as well as establishing and documenting repeatable processes to help scale the company’s back-office capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist employee time reporting process and prepare payroll
- Work with third-party payroll service to run payroll; audit for accuracy
- Process non-U.S. global payroll
- Analyze and report on employee PTO accruals
- Calculate and process employee bonuses
- Assist with employee and billable expenses
- Process state and local payroll and business taxes
- Handle Accounts Payable for vendor and subcontractor payments
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements
- Report on A/P aging
- Process journal entries into the company’s accounting system (Deltek Vantagepoint)
- Create financial reports and assist in gathering inputs for regular management reviews
- Maintain RedCloud employee information related to compensation, benefits, withholding, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience
- Minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional office environment
Skills
- Highly autonomous, organized, and self-motivated
- Collaborative and able to work well with personnel of varying levels, knowledge, and skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting, finance, forecasting, and budgeting concepts and practices
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting systems; technically savvy (experience with Deltek VantagePoint is a bonus)
- Knowledge of current and evolving federal/state/local payroll compliance
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to track and execute on multiple initiatives, work under short deadlines, and reprioritize quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify core drivers behind the numbers
- Solid detail orientation

Schedule
Hybrid schedule available. Required to be in the office at least two days a week (minimum of Mondays and Wednesdays). Open to candidates seeking part-time, full-time temporary, and contract positions.
Pay
The compensation range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annualized.
