About the role

In this remote role, you will be part of the Payroll Team within the Shared Services Sector. The position involves managing voluntary deductions, auditing benefits, and payroll processing for multiple entities. The work schedule will be based on Central and Eastern Time Zones (CST/EST).

Responsibilities

  • Track voluntary deductions for 1200+ employees.
  • Track W2 healthcare costs for a self-insured insurance plan.
  • Track missed deductions for employees on leave.
  • Work with 3rd party benefit and 401(k) administrators.
  • Review reports from 3rd party administrator for new enrollments, terminations, and changes.
  • Update employee deductions in ADP and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Upload bi-weekly payroll deduction files to 3rd party benefit & 401(k) administrators.
  • Reconcile insurance invoices, process payments, and send paperwork to accounting.
  • Process garnishments.
  • Create payroll journal entries.
  • Prepare month-end reports.
  • End-to-end payroll processing for 2 entities; approximately 250 employees.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years multi-state payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of State and Local Payroll Laws.
  • Accounting experience helpful.
  • ADP experience preferred.
  • Deltek Vantagepoint experience is a plus.
  • FPC or CPP certification is a plus.

Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, X Lookup, V Lookup, understanding of Macros).
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain confidential information.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Must have reliable internet service.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
