About the role
ONSITE ROLE - NON-REMOTE/NON-HYBRID
Location: Wurth USA - 93 Grant St, Ramsey, NJ 07446
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm ET Monday-Friday
Compensation: $70k-$75k Based on Experience
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate administration of all payroll functions including processing and filing with various tax agencies.
- Complex computation of bonus payouts for the salesforce.
- Processing of payroll journal entry postings.
- CALCULATING employee final paychecks while adhering to state mandated timelines.
- Ensure company compliance with payroll legislation (Federal and state regulations).
- Lead special projects as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Audit functions.
- Adherence to company and legislated confidentially and privacy regulations.
- File Payroll and Personnel documents.
- Calculation, entry, and submission of all year-end adjustments for W2s and filing with various tax agencies.
- Maintaining the accuracy of the Concur Program by continually updating the system with new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
- Timely Processing of Internal and Sales out-of-pocket expenses through the Concur Program.
- Assisting the Sales Force with issues related to the Concur Travel Program.
- Working with HR to track employee time off accrued, used, and remaining balances.
- Support Finance and HR teams with additional tasks and operational needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in finance or accounting (minimum requirement)
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
- Practical experience in multi-state payroll processing
- Familiar with and skilled in using multiple complex systems: (e.g. SAP, UKG, ADP)
- Organizational skills in task and time management
- Ability to manage large volume of work
- Ability to manage reasonable conflicting deadlines with sense of urgency
- Ability to keep the integrity of confidential information
- Experience with state termination regulations
- Experience with payroll procedures for multi-state and government
- Strong analytical, accounting and math skills
