Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for employees across multiple states while ensuring timely and accurate pay distribution.
- Review payroll records, timekeeping data, and earnings information to identify discrepancies and resolve issues before payroll is finalized.
- Use Excel to organize payroll data, reconcile reports, and support detailed auditing of employee pay information.
- Maintain employee payroll records in ADP Workforce Now and update deductions, taxes, and other pay-related details as needed.
- Partner with internal teams to confirm hours, approvals, and payroll changes so each cycle is completed correctly.
- Investigate payroll questions from employees and provide clear follow-up regarding pay, withholdings, and adjustments.
- Support compliance with payroll regulations by applying appropriate federal, state, and company pay practices.
- Aid in payroll-related reporting and help improve manual processes within the department.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing full-cycle payroll processing.
- Background supporting multi-state payroll for a workforce of roughly 101 to 500 employees.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now in a payroll administration setting.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to sort, reconcile, and validate payroll data.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with sensitive compensation information.
- Ability to work onsite in Garner, North Carolina.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle payroll questions professionally.
Qualifications
