Payroll Administrator

About the role
Support payroll operations by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, employee payroll record maintenance, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities. Collaborate with HRIS, Human Resources, Finance, and employees to ensure payroll data is processed accurately and in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process approved hours for Payroll processing.
- Review payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Validate new hire, termination, compensation, and earnings effective dates impacting payroll.
- Administer payroll tax withholding and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Process and reconcile employee garnishments.
- Process payroll adjustments, reconciliations, and off-cycle payrolls as needed.
- Maintain Timecards and receive approval in Time & Attendance.
- Reconcile union employee’s personal and vacation days.
- Review and validate benefit deductions on payroll-related changes to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
- Complete employment verification requests and provide payroll support for internal and external audits.
- Provide payroll data, earnings reports, and supporting documentation for Workers’ Compensation, Safety, Social Compliance and other audit and reporting requirements.
- Review payroll reports bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
- Maintain monthly Affordable Care Act (ACA), reviews and reconcile data for annual 1095-C reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Payroll Manager.

Requirements
- 3 years of strong administrative/clerical background.
- Proficient typing, ten key and computer skills (ADP Workforce Now, ADP Time & Attendance, Excel, and Word).
- Excellent communication, customer service, written and phone skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Strong ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Excellent ability to analyze data timely, efficiently, effectively, and multi-task projects and assignments.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding employee and company information.
- May be required to work overtime as needed.
Pay
Salary Range: $70,304 - $83,824
