Payroll & Accounting Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly payroll for approximately 300 employees using Ceridian Dayforce
  • Review and process weekly employee expense reports
  • Afford assistance with accounts payable and vendor payment processing
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting
  • Collaborate with accounting leadership on general accounting support as needed
  • Afford assist with payroll and accounting integration related to a recent company acquisition
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures

Systems & Tools

  • Ceridian Dayforce (Payroll)
  • Deltek Ajera (Accounting/ERP)
  • QuickBooks (used by an acquired entity currently transitioning into Ajera)
  • Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools

Ideal Background

  • Experience processing full-cycle payroll for 200+ employees
  • Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce strongly preferred
  • Experience with expense report processing and accounts payable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work across payroll and accounting functions
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative and evolving team environment
