Payroll Accountant Trainee

About the role

Covered California's Financial Management Division is in search of an Accountant Trainee. We are looking for someone who is willing and excited to work collaboratively with all classifications at our agency to ensure successful maintenance of accounts and records.

Responsibilities

• Learn to process the monthly master payroll, prepare and process warrants
• Track and reconcile reports
• Assist with ensuring disbursement functions are performed accurately and timely

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

• Accounting experience
• Accounting system experience
• Reviewing and disbursing payments experience

Pay

$4,442.00 - $5,296.00 per Month
