Payments and Account Services Supervisor, Full-time, Onsite

About the role
As the Payments & Account Services Supervisor, you will oversee the performance, growth, and operational success of our payment and account services functions. You will play a key role in driving growth across our debit and credit card portfolios while ensuring a seamless member experience, strong financial performance, and operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow debit and credit card portfolios while achieving revenue and performance goals.
- Grow cards (both debit and credit) with activity to at least $580K as of Dec 31, 2026.
- Manage the net income associated with debit and credit cards to be more than $356K, expenses under $622K, and income greater than $978K.
- Manage and oversee the IRA portfolio with accuracy and attention to detail; zero errors or expenses to the credit union.
- Ensure operational excellence through strong controls, compliance, and audit readiness; maintain no more than two total findings on all audits and exams pertaining to the department.
- Develop, implement, and improve processes that increase efficiency, consistency, and risk management.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive measurable results across the department.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and service enhancement.
- Lead a high-performing team by retaining top talent, providing clear expectations, consistent coaching, meaningful feedback, and timely performance management.

Requirements
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing successful teams.
- Prior supervisory role experience in similar banking or credit union is preferred.
- Strong understanding of payment services, card programs, financial operations, or related banking/credit union functions.
- Exceptional coaching, communication, and performance management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.
- Fluent bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
Qualifications
- Two to five years of similar or related experience in credit union/banking, such as credit/debit card disputes, ACH, EFT, etc.
- Related supervisory experience preferred.
- A high school degree or GED is required.

Pay
Full-time, exempt (salary) position with a pay range of $50,000 - $57,000/year, depending on experience. Paid bi-weekly.
Schedule
Onsite in our Tyler, TX administration office. Work hours are 45+ weekly, with Monday through Friday availability from 7:45 AM to 6 PM, plus occasional weekends when business needs require.
