What Will You Be Doing
- Performs multiple responsibilities related to payment and adjustment for DME and Health Home payers.
- Promotes revenue integrity by ensuring timely and accurate posting of accounts.
- Maintains posting per company guidelines.
What Will You Need To Succeed
- Minimum of one-year experience in medical billing service.
- Ability to interpret billing procedures and changes and assimilate information to computer.
- Ability to use various computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR.
- Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes.
- Experience in Medicare and Managed Care, Third Party payers, PIP, filing claims by electronic method, etc.
- Knowledge of governmental legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities.
