About the role
As a Payment Poster Coordinator, you will coordinate the daily operations of the business office and be responsible for posting, reconciling, depositing, adjusting, refunding, and balancing cash and daily payments.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that assigned areas are staffed by coordinating your team’s schedule daily
- Post all payments and adjustments daily
- Contact payers and initiate requests for payment and refunds for overpayment
- Enter refunds in the AdvantaX system in a timely manner
- Prepare check registry for all refunds keyed in AdvantaX and submit to AP
- Perform weekly allocations of deposits to ensure accurate reporting of credit balances
- Maintain a credit balance of 1.0 days
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of payment posting experience
- Analytical skills to research and solve reimbursement discrepancies based on contracts
- Lead or supervisory experience preferred
