We are looking for an experienced Paylocity Contractor to support payroll operations for a growing organization in Florida. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll specialist who can bring strong system knowledge, provide dependable biweekly payroll support, and step in with hands-on processing when needed. The role offers a flexible part-time schedule of up to 20 hours per week while maintaining consistent availability aligned with business needs. Responsibilities:• Manage end-to-end biweekly payroll activities with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Paylocity, offering guidance on system use, payroll workflows, and issue resolution.• Process payroll for a workforce that includes primarily salaried employees as well as a small hourly population.• Support payroll administration across multiple states, coordinating tax and compliance considerations as required.• Step in to run payroll independently when coverage is needed or workload increases.• Partner with payroll team members to strengthen daily operations and provide practical support to team members who need additional guidance.• Help maintain organized payroll records, validate data inputs, and review outputs before final submission.• Contribute payroll expertise to related operational initiatives when needed, including support tied to integration-related activities. • 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Paylocity in a payroll-focused role. • Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle payroll processing with limited oversight. • Experience handling multi-state payroll requirements and related compliance considerations. • Strong understanding of payroll practices for both salaried and hourly employees. • Ability to work on a part-time basis up to 20 hours per week with a dependable schedule. • Comfortable serving as a payroll subject matter expert and stepping into processing responsibilities as needed. • Prior exposure to platforms such as ADP Workforce Now is helpful, though Paylocity expertise is the primary need.
