About the role
Paylocity is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience managing payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries related to their pay and benefits.
- Prepare and distribute pay stubs and other required documents.
- Manage employee time records and ensure accurate hours are recorded.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with payroll software such as ADP or Paychex.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
