Payables Specialist

Position Overview

The Payables Specialist will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers for goods and services. They will ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to accounts payable, support managers by maintaining a strong understanding of accounts payable systems, deliver excellent customer service through professional interactions with suppliers and internal teams, and assist in reconciling financial transactions and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in training and supporting users on accounting systems or processes
• Experience in handling routine to moderately complex financial transactions and reconciliations
• Strong problem-solving skills within accounting applications and financial processes
• Able to research, analyze, and resolve financial discrepancies effectively
