Payables Specialist

IDR is seeking a Payables Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Midvale, UT.

This role is ideal for individuals experienced in accounts payable and financial transactions, working within a company that values accuracy, compliance, and excellent customer service. The organization operates in the financial or accounting services industry, emphasizing efficient and timely supplier payments.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers for goods and services.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
• Support managers by maintaining a strong understanding of accounts payable systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service through professional interactions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Aid in reconciling financial transactions and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in training and supporting users on accounting systems or processes.
• Experience in handling routine to moderately complex financial transactions and reconciliations.
• Strong problem-solving skills within accounting applications and financial processes.
• Ability to research, analyze, and resolve financial discrepancies effectively.
