Pavement Marking Foreman - ASC
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Striping Foreman to join our team. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of striping projects, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and safe completion of work.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team to complete road and parking lot striping projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Read and interpret project blueprints, layouts, and plans, and delegate tasks based on crew strengths and project needs.
Operate and maintain various striping equipment, including Graco Line Drivers, Long Line trucks, and Walk-Behind Machines.
Perform pre-job planning, including site preparation, asphalt cleaning, and material handling.
Ensure the work area is safe, maintain a clean work environment, and follow all safety procedures.
Train and mentor crew members on striping techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Monitor crew productivity and quality, ensuring that work is performed according to specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and other team members to coordinate job requirements and provide progress updates.
Complete daily progress reports, timesheets, and equipment logs.
Perform regular inspections of completed work to ensure precision and quality control.
Manage and maintain inventory of materials and equipment.
Be flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary, to meet deadlines.
Ensure compliance with ADA and local striping regulations.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Valid CDL with at least two years of experience required
High school diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of 2 years of experience in road or parking lot striping, with at least 1 year in a leadership or foreman role
Experience with Long Liner trucks, Walk-Behind Machines, and other striping equipment is preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings
Knowledge of safety standards, OSHA regulations, and traffic control procedures
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
