Patternmaker Apprentice

Purpose of Role

Wood patternmaking is the ultimate intersection of old-school craftsmanship and high-tech engineering, where you transform loose 2D blueprints into highly precise, physical 3D masterpieces. It is a deeply satisfying role because your hands-on work serves as the foundational mold for massive, real-world industrial machinery. Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify patterns and core boxes according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Pattern changes (set-ups or changes) for production
• Perform regular repair and modification on existing tooling
• Follow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above. Experience in woodworking, patternmaking or similar skillset is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow direction
