Wollaston Alloys/CPP Boston is a stainless steel and high alloy sand casting foundry based in Braintree, MA for over 60 years. We manufacture components for the defense market as well as commercial markets such as power generation industries. This is a crucial position within our fast-paced, growing facility.

About the role

We are seeking a driven individual to join our team as an entry-level Carpenter in our Pattern Shop. This role involves making, repairing, and revising wood, metal, or plastic forms for foundry tooling using blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Make, repair, and revise wood, metal, or plastic forms for foundry tools using blueprints.
• Repair shell and air set patterns for production.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Observe all company rules and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed.

Requirements

• Trade school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to follow and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
• Basic carpentry skills preferred.
• Ability to safely operate woodworking power equipment.
