Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain patterns.
- Transform merchandising ideas and product concepts into working patterns that achieve desired fit and appearance at minimum material and labor cost.
- Supervise prototype assembly.
- Write dimension specifications.
- Monitor finished production for compliance to specifications.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with internal departments and outside contractors.
Skills
- 1‑3 years of related professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Pattern design and pattern grading experience.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written).
- Creative problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to handle issues cross‑functionally.
- Strong knowledge of pattern design.
- Strong knowledge of pattern grading concepts.
- Superior CAD skills used in pattern making, grading, style definition, and marker making.
