About the role

The Patrol/Communications Officer (Part-time On-call) position is responsible for providing support in both patrol and communications roles.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide initial response as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other officers during emergencies.
  • Assist in maintaining public safety through patrols and community engagement.
  • Operate communication systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in law enforcement or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
