About the role
The Patrol/Communications Officer (Part-time On-call) position is responsible for providing support in both patrol and communications roles.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide initial response as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other officers during emergencies.
- Assist in maintaining public safety through patrols and community engagement.
- Operate communication systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in computer software applications.
