Patient Transporter Per Diem Days / Marlton

Position Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments/units.
• Ensure appropriate patient identification, comfort, and safety during transport (including lifting, moving, and positioning in bed/wheelchair).
• Provide patient information as needed.
• Care for and clean wheelchairs/stretchers.
• Initiate appropriate action when repair is required (check supply of oxygen, replenish and change regulators as necessary).
• Collaborate with other transporters to coordinate patient schedules and ensure smooth transport operations.
• Communicate patient information to nurses and testing (diagnostic) departments as necessary.

Position Qualifications

• Demonstrate a positive demeanor and strong verbal communication skills.
• Be able to handle potentially stressful situations and multitask effectively.
• Preferred customer service experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• CPR training preferred.

Pay

$18.00 - $21.33 hourly.
