Patient Transporter Internal / External - 156313
Description
The Patient Transporter at St. Luke’s is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facilities. Duties include assisting patients into/out of bed, transporting equipment, retrieving medical records, laboratory specimens, supplies, and medications, maintaining and cleaning transport equipment, and complying with personal protective equipment requirements.
Routine tasks involve resolving routine questions, issues, and problems; referring more complex issues to higher levels; and assisting with dispatch coverage and interview, training, and onboarding processes. Additional responsibilities may include participating in performance initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
