Sentara Health is hiring a Patient Transporter at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. Hours/Shift: Full time, Days, 5:30am-2:00pm

Education Required

High School Diploma

Certifications Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics
• Strictly adhere to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara
• Communicate clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients
• Ensure adequate communication of information between Central Transport and other departments
