Primary Duties
- Provides observation and documentation for patients requiring direct and indirect visual observation related to medical and/or behavioral conditions.
- Redirects patient behavior as needed to promote patient safety.
- Engages patient in diversion activities as needed.
- Provides assistance to the unit assigned at the direction of clinical staff.
- Affords support to the department by performing stocking tasks.
License, Certification, Education or Experience
- REQUIRED for the position: High School graduate or equivalent Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
- DESIRE for the position: 6 months recent experience in a health care setting Customer service experience Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Behavioral health experience
