Patient Services Specialist - Heart and Vascular (Part time)

About the role

The Patient Services Specialist - Journey Level performs all core front-office functions with increased independence and efficiency. This position supports the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare by following the core values of Justice, Excellence, Dignity, Integrity, and Compassion.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient registration, appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services, and general clerical duties.
• Supports the care team by demonstrating a commitment to compassionate service, effective communication, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 1 year medical office or related healthcare experience OR 6 months experience as a Providence employee in an Associate PSS position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
